Sarl Ecopromer
Ecopromer is a French fishing company which has its own production facilities. Besides that, we also have our own storage and transport provisions. We fish in The English Channel, FAO Zone 27. We use the most modern equipment for our way of fishing, known as pelagic fishery. These are our main products: Sardines <Sardina pilchardus>, Mackerel <Scomber scombrus>, and Horsemackerel <Trachurus trachurus>.

The company's director is Mr. Y. Neveu, and the sales department is directed by Mr. A. Zuurmond, director of Fiskkoer B.V., The Netherlands.
The Fishing
Ecopromer owns two trawlers with a length of 25 meters each; Spes and Symbiose. Both trawlers use the most modern fishing techniques. Thanks to this, the final product of Ecopromer can't be compared with any other similar products. For example, the fish is pumped directly out of the fishing nets, instead of the outdated way of bringing in the nets. As well as that, Ecopromer uses small, mobile tanks (300 litres) filled with liquid ice and salt water. In these tanks the fish are kept at a permanent temperature of minus 2 degrees. In short, Ecopromer can guarantee that its products meet the highest standards of freshness.
As soon as the tanks have been discharged, the production process can begin.
Production
The factory of Ecpromer is located in Fécamp; a picturesque fishing village in the region of Haute Normandie. The factory itself is situated at the dockside of Fécamp, which makes the discharge of the catch easier.

As soon as the tanks enter the factory, the fish is sorted by size. These sizes are as follows: SS (80-100 gr/p), S (100-130 gr/p), M (130-160 gr/p) L (160-190 gr/p) and XL (>190 gr/p). It goes without saying that the complete selection process is being supervised constantly.

After the selection, the fish is packed into high quality cartons of 10 kgs; these cartons are extremely suitable for export purposes. Now the fish will be frozen for at least 18 hours at a temperature of minus 40°C. We utilize a specially designed horizontal freezing system. The next day the pallets go into the Coldstore (minus 22°C) which brings the production process to an end.
Transport / Export
The products of Ecopromer are transported to several European coldstores. From here, the fish will reach our clients all over the world. Most of our clients can be found in Japan, China, South-Africa, Namibia, Thailand, Reunion, Malta, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Poland, Serbia and the Ukraine.
